The Angelo State University Regional History Day contest began through a collaborative effort between the ASU History Department and Paint Rock Independent School District. The contest proved to be a success in its first year as more than 100 students from area schools participated.
The Fair counts on the assistance of faculty and staff from various institutions including, Angelo State University, Paint Rock ISD, and the Region 15 Education Service Center, and the West Texas Collection.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Angelo State University Regional History Day Fair will be virtual. All projects will be submitted and judged electronically.
Student projects will be judged based on the following criteria:
Historical Quality - 60%
Relation to Theme - 20%
Clarity of Presentation - 20%
